External Collaboration, Protocols, and Follow-up Unit
The External Collaboration, Protocols, and Follow-up Unit aims to establish an integrated system for implementing training programs designed to build and enhance the capacities of international organizations. This is achieved by upgrading the professional, scientific, and applied skills of their members to improve global access to safe, effective, high-quality, and affordable medicines and health technologies.
  • Execution of International Training: Delivering external training programs for international organizations to bolster their competencies. These programs rely on advanced training methodologies provided by the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) department to ensure practical and scientific excellence.
External Stakeholders Training Unit (Industry & Company Representatives)
The External Stakeholders Training Unit is dedicated to establishing a comprehensive framework for training programs that build and strengthen the capacities of external parties dealing with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA). The unit focuses on:
  • Skill Enhancement: Elevating the professional and scientific levels of stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Specialized Programs: Offering technical training based on the latest international standards and local regulations.
  • Collaborative Implementation: These programs are executed with the participation of experts from all EDA Central Departments, ensuring stakeholders are updated with the latest circulars, regulatory decisions, and technical updates to achieve sustainable professional development.
EDA Internal Staff Training Unit
The EDA Internal Staff Training Unit aims to create an integrated ecosystem for developing and enhancing the competencies of Egyptian Drug Authority employees. Its core mission is to:
  • Build Competitive Cadres: Developing technical personnel with a high competitive advantage, which elevates the Authority’s overall performance and strengthens staff capacity to address diverse professional challenges.
  • Comprehensive Training Cycle: Managing all necessary steps to prepare and execute distinguished training programs tailored to the specific needs of different departments.
  • Sustainable Performance: Designing programs that serve the Authority’s mandates and enhance the practical and scientific efficiency of all employees, contributing to the long-term strategic goals of the EDA.
