Egyptian Drug Authority’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Designated as a WHO Regional Training Centre for Biomanufacturing

The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has announced the official designation of its Continuous Professional Development (CPD) by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the Regional Training Centre (RTC) for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMRO) under the WHO Global Biomanufacturing Workforce Training Initiative.

The EDA Participates in a High-Level World Health Organization Event in Geneva to Advance African Pharmaceutical Integration

Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), participated in the high-level event organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with the African Medicines Agency (AMA), at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, under the theme: “Towards a More Integrated and Resilient African Pharmaceutical System: Strengthening Medical Product Regulation through the African Medicines Agency and WHO Partnership.”

The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Obtains Membership in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Convention.

In a strategic step reflecting the rapid advancement of Egypt’s pharmaceutical sector, the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) continues to strengthen its international standing as the national regulatory authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt by joining the United States Pharmacopeia Convention with voting rights.

EDA Chairman Receives CEO of the Ghana FDA to Strengthen Regulatory Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Sector

Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), received Prof. Kwabena Manso, Chief Executive Officer of the Food and Drugs Authority of Ghana, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical and regulatory fields.
