General Overview:

• Follow up on pharmacovigilance before and after marketing of medical preparations and supplies. 

• Pharmaceutical education and spreading community awareness of the safe and rational use of medical preparations and supplies and reporting adverse effects related to their use . 

• Reviewing and approving the rules for reviewing and publishing permits for marketing, advertising and awareness materials for preparations and supplies that are under the authority’s control   

• Supervising and participating in setting standards for clinical informatics systems  practice and developing its strategies. 

• Supervising and participating in setting standards practice in clinical information systems, developing strategies, and selecting best practices to integrate them into current systems, as well as all standards related to pharmaceutical practices, clinical pharmacy, and nutrition therapy. 

• providing reliable and up-to-date pharmaceutical information through the establishment and implementation of policies, evaluation, and enhancement of pharmaceutical information to ensure the best use of pharmaceutical preparations by adopting medical leaflets according to the approved and updated scientific references
