General Administration of certificates and licensing follow up
Certificates Department: The department is responsible for issuing all types of certificates to pharmacists nationwide, as well as verifying their movements and pharmacy ownership since their graduation and practice.
- Licensing Follow-up and Performance Development Department: This is the department responsible for submitting the necessary proposals to issue ministerial decisions, administrative decisions, publications, and periodicals (regarding the establishment of rules for licensing procedures for pharmaceutical establishments and their affiliated storage facilities. These establishments are “public pharmacies and private pharmacies, whose licenses are issued by the branches of the Drug Authority in the governorates) This is to be circulated to the Authority’s branches in all governorates to ensure compliance and implementation, and to conduct distance measurement inspections to resolve disputes and resolve conflicts according to the inspection schedule in the administration, and to respond to inquiries from the Authority’s branches in all governorates of the Republic or regarding complaints submitted by interested parties regarding licensing affairs after the completion of the technical or legal examination of the subject of the inquiry or complaint.
