The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) announced the conclusion of a workshop on the regulatory aspects of clinical medical research ethics in Egypt.

The workshop aimed to introduce the mandate and vision of the Supreme Council for the Review of Clinical Medical Research Ethics, clarify the mechanisms of integration between the Supreme Council and the Egyptian Drug Authority in protocol review, and highlight the Authority's competencies in accordance with the Clinical Medical Research Regulation Law No. 214 of 2020.

This comes within the framework of the Egyptian Drug Authority's efforts to enhance the clinical medical research system and ensure its compliance with accredited ethical and regulatory standards.
