The Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority meets with the president and representatives of the General Division of Medicines at the General Union of Chambers of Commerce.

Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, met with a number of leaders of the Egyptian Drug Authority including Dr. Aiman El-Khatib, Vice President of the Egyptian Drug Authority, Dr. Rasha Ziada, Egyptian Drug Authority Chairman's Assistant for Technical Development and Capability Building Affairs, Dr. Ali Aouf, Head of the Medicines Division at the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, and the accompanying delegation of members of the Division, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Drug Authority in Maadi.
Following that, another meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Tarek el-Hobi, Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA), and a number of leaders of the National Food Safety Authority, Dr. Gamal Al-Lithy, Head of the Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industries, Cosmetics and Medical Supplies, and a number of industry representatives. During the two meetings, several topics of interest to industry partners were discussed to support the pharmaceutical sector.
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, expressed his satisfaction with the constant and effective communication between the Egyptian Drug Authority and the Division amidst the challenges and developments facing the pharmaceutical sector, indicating that the Egyptian Drug Authority seeks to cooperate with industry partners to overcome the challenges facing the pharmaceutical sector.
Dr. Tarek el-Hobi emphasized the openness of both the Egyptian Drug Authority and the National Food Safety Authority to cooperation that ensures the public interest and supports the economies of pharmaceutical sector partners in general, pointing out the keenness of both authorities on continuing cooperation and permanent coordination.
Dr. Aiman El Khateeb highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Egyptian Drug Authority and the Division, and opening doors for continuous dialogue to drive the pharmaceutical sector forward and ensure the public interest.
Dr. Gamal El Lithy stressed the importance of cooperation between the Egyptian Drug Authority and the National Food Safety Authority, leading to industry support, adding that this is in the best interest of the Egyptian patient.
This comes in light of the continuous efforts of the Egyptian Drug Authority towards achieving the goals of Egyptian drug security and achieving effective communication with industry partners, serving the state's development plans, as well as emphasizing its support for national efforts and the localization of pharmaceutical industries in Egypt.
