Service description
This service enables citizens to report adverse drug reactions, adverse events following immunization, adverse events related to cosmetics, and medical devices.
A specialized team from the Egyptian Drug Authority, represented by the Egyptian Pharmacovigilance Center affiliated with the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Care, assesses and follows up on reported cases.
Subsequently, the necessary regulatory measures are taken to ensure the safety of pharmaceutical products and medical devices for Egyptian patients.
Reporting adverse events is crucial for the safe use of medicines. Comprehensive information provided by patients enables the Egyptian Pharmacovigilance Center to assess the safety of drugs marketed in our country. Therefore, contact information is necessary to follow up on the case and complete the submitted report if needed.
Confidentiality of data
All information contained in the report is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is fully protected by the Egyptian Drug Authority. This includes the identity of the patient and the reporter, and will not be disclosed under any circumstances
