Today, Monday, January 22, 2024, a scientific day has been organized by the Egyptian Drug Authority and GlaxoSmithKline under the title of ""The Latest Research and Development Technologies and Clinical Trials in the Field of Tumors."

A group of international experts in the field of clinical research presented several theoretical lectures to showcase the latest techniques in designing clinical trials in the field of oncology while explaining the newest scientific concepts. They also highlighted advanced therapeutic methods in the field of oncology.

The seminar included the role of precision medicine as well as vital indicators in the development of oncology drugs, including liquid and diagnostic biopsies, the role of genomics in discovering tumors, and the research and development of drugs.

The implementation of the seminar comes within the plan of the Egyptian Drug Authority, which is aimed at enhancing the professional level of all employees in the authority and keeping them informed of all developments in all fields to contribute to building an effective human cadre capable of achieving institutional development and excellence in light of working to achieve the strategic goals of sustainable development—Egypt's Vision 2030.
