Dr. Al-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), conducted an inspection visit to Biogeneric Pharmaceutical Industries factory in 10th of Ramadan City. The visit comes within the framework of the Authority’s commitment to supporting the national pharmaceutical industry and enhancing the quality of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
During the tour, the Chairman reviewed the factory’s modern production lines, which include the manufacturing of biological and biopharmaceutical products in accordance with the highest international quality standards. He also examined the internal quality control system and advanced technologies implemented to ensure the safety and efficacy of products, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
Dr. Al-Ghamrawy emphasized that EDA gives great importance to encouraging investment in the pharmaceutical sector and localizing advanced pharmaceutical technologies, considering it a fundamental pillar for achieving the state’s vision of providing safe, effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical products for Egyptian patients. He also confirmed that the Authority will continue to provide technical support and assistance to national factories to ensure the development and upgrading of the pharmaceutical manufacturing system according to the highest global standards.
Al-Ghamrawy praised the advanced technical level achieved by Biogeneric, considering such industrial models represent a key pillar in achieving self-sufficiency in biopharmaceuticals and contribute to enhancing pharmaceutical security and localizing the pharmaceutical industry.
For their part, company officials expressed their appreciation for this visit, affirming their commitment to continuing to provide high-quality pharmaceutical products that serve Egyptian patients and support the national pharmaceutical industry.
