The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) inaugurated the 5th edition of the EGY Health Conference and Exhibition 2025. Dr. Tamer El-hussieny, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, inaugurated the event on behalf of Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority. The event is being held at the Cairo International Convention Center from 18 to 20 September 2025, with the participation of prominent Egyptian, Arab, and international leaders, alongside more than 450 local and global exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in medical and pharmaceutical technologies.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chairman emphasized the pivotal role of the conference as a platform to strengthen Arab and international cooperation and explore investment opportunities in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Following the opening session, Dr. El-Husseiny toured the exhibition halls, visiting several Egyptian and international company pavilions, and inaugurated the EDA’s dedicated pavilion. Throughout the exhibition, the EDA’s booth highlights the Authority’s key regulatory and advisory services, as well as its efforts to support the pharmaceutical industry and adopt modern digital tools for engagement with both the healthcare community and the public. The pavilion reflects the Authority’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and opening new avenues of cooperation with Arab, African, and international partners, contributing to healthcare integration, pharmaceutical innovation, and the achievement of medicine security and sustainable health sector development.
Since its launch in 2018, the Egy Health Conference has become one of the most prominent medical events in the Middle East and Africa, supporting innovation, knowledge exchange among healthcare institutions, and reinforcing Egypt’s position as a regional hub in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and medical technology.
Through its participation in Egy Health 2025, the Egyptian Drug Authority reaffirms its strong commitment to supporting the healthcare and pharmaceutical systems, enhancing Egypt’s role as a regional hub for innovation and healthcare integration, and expanding regional and international cooperation to achieve pharmaceutical security and advance the health sector in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
