- The Pharmaceutical Care Initiative, following a knowledge-based approach and launched under the slogan “Knowledge-Driven Professions”, targets pharmacy students across the Arab Republic of Egypt. Its objective is to raise awareness about the safe and effective use of medications among future pharmacists. This is accomplished through field visits conducted by the General Administration of Drug Utilization and Pharmacy Practice to various universities in Cairo, Giza, and other governorates, reflecting a strong belief in the value of investing in young minds to advance Egypt’s healthcare system.
Participating institutions include Cairo University, Alexandria University, Mansoura University, Tanta University, Al-Azhar University, Misr International University (MIU), the British University in Egypt (BUE), the University of Hertfordshire, Galala University, MTI University, New Giza University, 6th of October University, New Mansoura University, Future University, and the Chinese University.
