The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has launched the Pharmaceutical Care Initiative in Pharmacy Practice and Drug Utilization, titled "Aware Pharmacist... Aware Community."

It consists of a series of free virtual (online) lectures with designated topics, targeting community pharmacists working in public pharmacies to encourage correct medication practices. Additionally, it aims to achieve continuous professional development for outstanding community pharmacists capable of driving positive change. This helps spread the principles of pharmaceutical awareness and education while promoting the rational use of medicines, making this initiative a qualitative step toward raising the efficiency of the Egyptian pharmacist and positioning them as an essential partner in protecting community health.
