The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has announced the launch of the final version of the Digital Platform for Protocol Management and Clinical Trials (Clinical Trials Digital Platform) through the Authority’s official website. This initiative is in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Authority’s commitment to digital transformation and automation of its services, effective from January 1, 2026.
The launch of this platform comes as part of the Authority’s continuous efforts to enhance service efficiency, streamline procedures, and provide a more effective experience for pharmaceutical companies, sponsors, and contract research organizations.
Platform Objectives

Simplify workflow between the Protocol Management and Clinical Trials Department and applicants.

Facilitate the submission, review, and approval of clinical trial protocols in an institutional and automated manner.
