Egyptian Drug Authority Issues Alert for Travelers Regarding Controlled Medications Before Heading Abroad
In line with the Egyptian Drug Authority's commitment to the safety of travelers and the facilitation of travel procedures, the Authority urges citizens to be aware that certain medications may be subject to international control or regulatory measures that vary from one country to another.
Therefore, the Drug Authority advises the importance of reviewing the laws and instructions governing the circulation of medicines in the destination country before traveling. This is to avoid any legal issues that might hinder the trip or affect the safety of the traveler.
The Authority also recommends that travelers who use medications regularly carry a recent and certified medical prescription that clearly includes the name of the medication and the patient's medical condition, while committing to carrying only the quantities designated for personal use for the duration of the trip.
This alert comes within the framework of providing information and taking necessary measures before travel, ensuring a safe, smooth journey free from any obstacles.
