Egyptian Drug Authority Concludes Advanced Training Program on Work Procedures and Licensing Requirements for Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Factories
The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) announced the conclusion of its advanced training program on work procedures, regulatory guidelines, and licensing requirements for pharmaceutical and medical supplies factories. The program was held as part of the Authority’s efforts to ensure the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and to issue technical licenses for operation, in cooperation with the General Authority for Industrial Development.
The program provided a detailed explanation of work procedures and regulatory guidelines related to licensing different types of factories. It also included an overview of the Good Manufacturing Practices required for licensing pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and medical supplies factories, in accordance with the latest international references and the trainers’ practical and scientific expertise.
Two dedicated lectures were delivered by the Director General of the Industrial and Medical Supplies Administration at the General Authority for Industrial Development, and the Director General of the Golden Licenses Unit at the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, to address questions related to licensing procedures and processes implemented by both authorities.
