The Egyptian Drug Authority participated in the activities of the Annual Scientific Conference of the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes, held under the slogan “Pain Management.” The conference featured a number of scientific sessions and specialized workshops addressing the latest developments in pain management, with the participation of a distinguished group of experts and specialists.

During the conference, a scientific lecture was delivered on approaches to managing chronic pain in cases of fibromyalgia. This took place within the framework of supporting the objectives of developing pharmaceutical practices and promoting the rational and safe use of medicines, contributing to the improvement and sustainability of pharmaceutical and drug services provided nationwide, achieving the highest standards of pharmaceutical care, and ensuring patient safety.

This participation comes as part of the Egyptian Drug Authority’s ongoing efforts to advance the level of pharmaceutical services and enhance the competencies of Egyptian pharmacists. It reflects the integration and collaboration of state institutions concerned with the health sector toward adopting a comprehensive approach to developing pharmaceutical practices, disseminating scientific knowledge, and supporting the exchange of expertise among specialists within health institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
