The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has launched the Pharmaceutical Care Initiative in Pharmacy Practice and Drug Utilization, titled "Our Elders... A Trust," in cooperation with the Center for Elderly Care and Sciences at Cairo University.
The initiative aims to spread pharmaceutical awareness among elderly community members regarding the safe and effective use of medications to achieve maximum therapeutic benefit. It encourages correct medication practices through scientifically and practically grounded pharmaceutical education for the elderly, delivered through regular visits and a series of awareness lectures.
Target Audiences:
- Elderly members of the Center for Elderly Care and Sciences at Cairo University.
